The Best Estate Agent Guide is recognised as one of the UK’s most comprehensive and independent assessments of estate agency performance.

Unlike awards that rely on nominations, judging panels or applications, every participating agency is assessed using factual performance data alongside customer service metrics. The Guide evaluates what matters most to buyers, sellers, landlords and tenants, ensuring the results reflect genuine performance rather than opinion.

The Best Estate Agent Guide 2027 will officially launch following the EA Masters Conference, Exhibition & Awards Celebration on 3 November 2026, when the full Guide becomes publicly available.

How Was LV PROPERTY Assessed?

Our Gold Award is based on an independent six-month assessment carried out between September 2025 and February 2026.

This year’s assessment was one of the largest ever undertaken, with:

• 10,475 estate agency businesses assessed
• 91.3% of estate agency brands across the UK reviewed
• 74% of agencies receiving no rating and therefore not appearing in the Guide

The assessment is powered by TwentyEA, one of the UK’s leading property data specialists.

Their Property & Homemover database contains 99.6% of all UK property listings, covering both sales and lettings, with information collected in near real-time from more than 4,500 verified data partners.
